You love to learn new languages to connect with people, their history, and cultures. Learning a world language builds cultural understanding and gives students great insight into other people's worldviews and shared human experiences. FLVS offers many world language courses for high school students, including Spanish, Chinese, French, American Sign Language, Latin, and Hebrew.
Our new courses include Latin 4 Honors, American Sign Language 3 Honors, and Chinese 4 Honors. For advanced students who wish to learn more about the history of different countries and cultures, FLVS now offers Advanced Placement (AP) World History: Modern.
You have an affinity for all things art, whether it’s drawing, painting or more. You love to learn about art and create it yourself. Exploring Two-Dimensional Art is available for our middle school students, and Two-Dimensional Studio Art 1 is available for our high school students. In both courses, students explore artworks to understand how to use the elements of art and design principles to plan, create, and reflect on their own art.
