You will discover habits of body and mind that will lead to a healthier lifestyle. You will measure your current fitness level, nutrition knowledge, and create a plan for achieving your individual goals. During your fitness journey, you will learn the principles of strength and endurance training, lifetime fitness activity options, and essential nutrition to encourage lifetime optimal health. This course provides elective credit. When paired with Personal Fitness, it can fulfill the physical education requirement for high school graduation (district dependent).
